Midland Air Service Experts was excited to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. This marks the second year that Midland Air has participated in this amazing event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial assistance for families.
Midland Air Service Experts contributed $1000 to this incredible cause and the nationwide event has raised over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her dad’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s motorcycle club gets involved every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for this incredible cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The generous motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and helping with wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To discover more about how you can get involved and support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, go to their site.
